A week ago Remko and I returned in the Netherlands. The flight was delayed a day due to the combination of smog and mist in Beijing. So we got an extra day, although we did not make it any further then the ariport. Not very exciting, but a chaos it was!
We had a very good, but above all, an interesting trip. We learned a lot about China and Tibet.
Everything went according to the itineray. Go Tsjiang brought us safely to Lhasa and David proved to have extensive knowledge about the culture. His proposal to skip one day at Manasarovar Lake and go to Thak la Kot and later to go to Gyantse, proved to be a very good idea.
We thank you a lot for all your help. We now realize it really was a big trip and not easy to organise for you.
If any of my friend ever want to go to Tibet, I always will recommend John's Cafe.
Hopefully, Go Tsjang has arrived in Kashgar safely.
Please say hello to him.
Pictures will be send shortly.

We did it.
We arrived well in Beijing and climbed the wall in Jinshanling (see photo in attachment).
In the meanwhile we are back in Belgium, without problems.
We all want to thank you for the excellent organisation : a good car, an excellent driver (Dong Dong), nice hotels, train-tickets for a softsleeper, an excellent guide in Xian.
We shall always advise your office to future silk-road travellers.
Once again, thank you very much.
